Staff Parish Relations Committee

The SPRC serves several important functions in the church. Chief among these is a supervisory and evaluative body that relates to the staff including the pastor.

Trustees Committee

The Trustees are tasked with maintaining and repairing church owned property and buildings. They also set policies for building use by groups within and outside the church.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee serves to manage all financial decisions made by the church, including setting the church budget, accounting for giving, and managing expenditures.

Church Council

The Church Council (all of us members of the church) serves as the largest voting body in the church. Representatives from various teams as well as lay representatives work together to make major decisions for the church's future.

David James serves as the chair of the Church Council.

Annual Conference Delegate

Every year in June, representatives of each United Methodist Church in Alabama gather for Annual Conference. This meeting of clergy and lay delegates accomplishes much of the denominational work we must get done for the year.

Glendacile Lyons is our Lay Delegate to Annual Conference.

Chris Cone is our Clergy Delegate to Annual Conference.
