Jr. High Class

Our Jr. High Class offers a specialized time of fun and learning geared toward 6th-8th graders. This time of learning, fun, and service helps transition students out of Children's Ministry and prepares them to become Youth! During these three years, our students focus on spiritual formation and learning about the church, faith, and God.
The time our students are in our Jr High Class is incredibly important! This stage of development is hard--they are too old for children's activities and too young for youth. So our hope is to provide activities for spiritual growth dedicated to their specific age group!

Confirmation for Young Youth
Around 6th Grade, Jr High students enter into a Confirmation Class that will help them decide if they are ready to become full members of the church. Confirmation is a time for questions and answers about the church, it's history, Christ, salvation, and our denomination. This class is taught by our Pastor, with the help of both the church's Children's Director and Youth Director.
Confirmation Classes usually take place in the Spring and conclude in May or early June with the Confirmation Worship Service. During this service, students profess their faith in Jesus Christ and, if they have not previously been baptized, they are baptized.
Students can be baptized in the way that they choose. Either by sprinkling or by full immersion.
